On Sunday 23rd - a crisp late autumn May day, In Context was opened at Arts on Main.   The work of Goodman Gallery, Nirox Foundation, the Apartheid Museum, and the Johannesburg Art Gallery, In Context comprises a series of exhibitions  and interventions that engage with the city of Johannesburg.   The Arts on Main exhibition  includes major foreign artists such as Jenny Holzer as well as the work of ex-pat South Africans such as Robin Rhode, Kendall Geers, Candice Breitz and Thomas Mulclaire.
