
Opening at Circa on Jellicoe Ave, Lower Rosebank on 28th June are 2 exhibitions which look at the interface between art and science. The sub-title of Dark Energy – Images from the Hubble Telescope, is fairly is self explanatory. Sutherland Reflections, is somewhat more arcane subtitled ‘Art meets science in a place of Darkness and Silence’. It refers to the arts initiative run by Bronwen Lace and Marcus Neustetter who use playful activities in their attempt to explore the current relationship between the disadvantaged communities in Sutherland and the international telescopic observatory.
