French Urban Contemporary Dance at The Fringe, Joburg Theatre Sunday 4th Sept

Irma Stern prices rocket: Stephan Welz and Co’s sale 16th August

It seems that the recession has helped in bringing a large amount of work back onto the market.  Her painting Young Arab R10,000,000-R15,000,000 is to go on auction tonight 16th August at Stephan Welz’ Johannesburg sale, while her Two Arabs has an estimate of 20,000,000 to R25,000,000 when it goes on auction with Strauss in Cape Town on 26th September.
